I thought long and hard about what I desire and what Chattanooga is missing as far as community connections. Knowing how fast Chattanooga is growing and how many amazing ad and creative agencies, photographers and professional creatives are moving here, I thought that we could really benefit from a creative professional-focused educational group.

The idea for Creative:Agency came to me one afternoon when I was thinking about what classes or conferences I'd love to invest in for photography and design and realized that it's a shame there's nothing like that on a local level. Well, what if there could be?

Creative Agency (noun)

A creative professional who feels a sense of control over their success & future as a result of seeking guidance from other creative professionals alike.

This group is meant to serve as a community of sorts - my goal is to host meaningful, intentional meetups throughout the year to help creative professionals network and gain major value from speakers and presenters. This group is for Visual Designers including Graphic Designers, Web Designers, UI/UX Designers, and Illustrators as well as Photographers, Videographers, Marketers, and other professional visual storytellers.

We all have different experience levels and backgrounds and I think it'd be great to have regular connections to interact with and learn from! A lot of us can get very lost and overwhelmed with running a business as creatives and it'd be awesome to have a space to learn how to do that from other professionals. Whether it be taxes, business licenses, marketing and content creation, how to scale our businesses, how to get more clients, contracts, and more - there is a lot to be learned!

There's also a lot of intersectionality between industries - we all serve each other in one way or another with website design, marketing, content creation, branding photography, the list goes on!
